Hello Medina!
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I am extremely honored to be a part of Medina I.S.D.! Medina’s reputation for excellence in education is just one of many factors which lead me to becoming a Bobcat! I am passionate about the education of your children, and look forward to a great year!!
At Medina Elementary School, your child(ren) will be educated by faculty and staff who are enthusiastic, compassionate, and highly skilled professionals committed not only to the growth of each child academically, but socially and emotionally as well. Children will experience an open and trusting learning environment that fosters critical thinking, encourages creativity, appreciates diversity, communicates respect, emphasizes teamwork, and values life-long learning. . Our theme this year is “Eclipsing Expectations!” and our goal is to help children understand that education is the pathway to success and that the journey is filled with inspiration and FUN!
The partnership between home and school contributes tremendously to student achievement. As partners, we share the responsibility of student success and we are committed to doing our very best each day. We ask that you guide and support your child by ensuring that he/she
1. Attends school daily, and arrives on time ready for the day’s learning experience
2. Completes all assignments given by the teacher
3. Reads daily to develop a love of reading and improve skills in all areas of learning
4. Shares school experiences, so you are aware of his/her school life
5. Informs you if he/she needs additional support in any area
6. Knows that you expect him/her to succeed in school
Please, take the time to become familiar with the Medina Independent School District Handbook and Student Code of Conduct. These handbooks address many issues that may arise during the school year. If we can ever be of assistance, please do not hesitate to call or email.
